Our Cornish Toile design reworks the classic French Toile de Jouy to reflect the history and heritage of Cornwall, drawing on local gardens, harbours and rugged coastline alongside the industrial heritage, architecture and landmarks that make this county so special. Rebecca began thinking about this design in 2007, while still living in Western Australia, wondering what it was about Cornwall she missed so much. The list grew, and it was only once she was home and had met Allison that the design came together, showcasing favourite bits of Cornwall: the harbour scene with a packet ship in the background, Kynance Cove, St Michaels Mount and even the water tap at Glendurgan Gardens.

We always try to keep all our lovely fabrics in stock, but now and then we might not have quite enough to complete your order straight away. If that is the case, we will be in touch with an estimated delivery date, usually within four weeks, so you know exactly when to expect your fabric.

Free samples are available from the dropdown menu on each design, so you can see the colour and a snippet of the pattern before you order. Please note that samples show a section of the design rather than the full repeat, so check the main product photo to see how the pattern repeats. You can order up to five free fabric samples. Please note, we cannot accept returns or refunds for fabric or oil cloth, as these are cut to your requested custom order length.
