Is Fine Bone China dishwasher safe?

Yes. All of our Fine Bone China is dishwasher safe.

To help preserve the brilliance of the glaze and decoration for years to come, we recommend using a gentle wash cycle with a mild detergent where possible. Avoid overcrowding the dishwasher, as items can become chipped if they knock against each other during the wash.

If washing by hand, use warm water, a soft sponge and a mild washing-up liquid.

Can I use it in the microwave?

Yes. Our Fine Bone China is microwave safe, making it perfect for warming drinks or heating food.

As with all china, avoid sudden changes in temperature. Taking a mug straight from the freezer into a hot microwave, for example, can place unnecessary stress on the ceramic.

Removing tea and coffee stains

Over time, tea and coffee can leave light surface marks inside mugs and cups.

These can usually be removed with a little bicarbonate of soda mixed into a paste with water. Apply gently using a soft cloth or sponge, then rinse thoroughly.

Avoid abrasive scourers or harsh cleaning products, as these can dull the finish.
