How To Create A Romantic Home✨
It's the perfect time of year to create a romantic feel in the house. It gives us a chance to freshen up our homes while keeping warm and cosy. Valentine’s Day signifies the first signs of spring, it's time to invite some flowers and a pop colour into our homes.
We have put together some simple things we like to do to make the house feel a little bit more relaxed and romantic.
1. Touches Of Pink
During the month of February, we enjoy adding touches of pink throughout the house. A truly romantic colour and just a few small touches can go a long way, adding a soft cushion or throw is a good place to start.

2. Flowers
Adding some flowers around the house is a quick and easy way to create a romantic feel. At this time of the year roses are always popular, hydrangeas and tulips also look great. We have silk flowers at our Falmouth store which can be great to keep the look going all year round.
We love using jugs for our flowers, like some of our customers have done here.
3. Dressing The Table
We love any excuse to have some fun with dressing the table. To create this romantic look, we have used our Trenwith Table cloth in Rhubarb, a floral centrepiece, tall coloured dinner candles, pink diamond wine goblets and Trenwith napkins.
4. Light Candles
The quickest, easiest way to add romance to the room is by simply lighting some candles. Any kind of candles create an ambience, tall dinner candles, tea lights or some lovely scented candles. We like using Our Star Gazey candle which is a blend of spicy top notes of pink pepper, pomegranate and cardamon, with a heart of clove and an amber base, perfect for cosy, romantic night in.
5. Lighting
Its nice to press refresh on the room and change the lampshades over from times to time, depending on the season. Some of our customers have updated their homes with the Hare Lampshade in warm tones from the Trenwith Collection, we think it really creates a "Romantic Country Home" look.
There is nothing quite like a beautiful chandelier that gives off soft, warm lighting. Our shell chandeliers really do add something quite special to the room.
